If your organisation has multiple practices and you've already set up an integration at one of them, you can reuse that connection at another practice instead of creating a new one. This is useful when several practices share the same PMS tenant or API credentials.
What you'll need
- An admin account at the practice you're connecting now.
- An existing integration of the same software at another practice in your organisation.
Steps
- Switch into the practice you want to connect (use the practice switcher at the top of the sidebar).
- Go to Setup → Integration.
- Click Configure Integration.
- In the Software dropdown, pick the same software as the existing connection (e.g. Praktika or Core Practice).
- By default the page opens on the Existing Connection tab if one or more connections of this software exist in your organisation. If it didn't, click that tab.
- Choose the existing integration from the list and submit.
- You'll land back on Setup → Integration with the integration row in place and a green Healthy badge.
Tips & things to watch for
- "Existing connection" reuses the underlying credentials, so you won't be asked to enter API keys, tenant names or sign in again.
- If the existing connection later shows Unhealthy, fixing it at one practice fixes it across all practices that use it.
- You can only reuse a connection across practices that share the same organisation.
