Applies to non-integrated practices only.
Every Availability, Exclusive and Hidden schedule has a repeat rule. The rule is the same in all three forms.
The four repeat options
- Doesn't repeat — the schedule applies to the chosen date only.
- Weekly on... — repeats every week. You pick the days using the S/M/T/W/T/F/S toggle row.
- Fortnightly on... — repeats every other week. Same day picker as weekly.
- Every weekday (Monday–Friday) — quick option for Mon–Fri only. No day picker.
For all repeating options you also choose When does it stop repeating?:
- Never — the schedule keeps repeating indefinitely.
- On — pick an end date. The end date must be on or after the start date.
Examples
| Goal | Settings |
|---|---|
| Tuesday morning availability for the next 6 weeks | Weekly on Tue, On 6 weeks from now |
| All weekdays this year | Every weekday, On 31 December |
| Every second Saturday, ongoing | Fortnightly on Sat, Never |
| Just Friday this week | Doesn't repeat |
Editing or deleting a repeating schedule
When you open an existing repeating schedule to edit or delete it, the form shows an info alert: "Editing or deleting this repeating schedule will take effect from {start date}."
This means edits/deletes apply going forward from the schedule's original start date — they don't retroactively change past instances. The system replaces the rule with the new one from that date onwards.
Tips & things to watch for
- The day toggles only appear for Weekly on... and Fortnightly on... — the Every weekday option includes Mon–Fri automatically.
- For repeating schedules, at least one day must be selected (for weekly/fortnightly).
- The end date must be on or after the start date — the form rejects earlier dates.
