Each recipient can be subscribed to a different mix of notification types — for example, your front desk might only want new bookings and cancellations, while your owner might also want reminder issues and other alerts.
Steps
- Go to Setup → Notifications.
- Find the recipient row in the table.
- Click the edit (pencil) icon. The row expands and the name and email become editable.
- Below the row you'll see a list of notification types, each with a switch.
- Toggle each notification type on or off for this recipient.
- Click the check (save) icon. You'll see "Recipient updated".
Notification types
The exact list of types is set centrally — common ones include:
- New bookings
- Reschedules
- Cancellations
- Booking reminder issues
- Other practice alerts
The icons next to each notification on the row tell you which types are currently enabled for that recipient. Hover over an icon to see its name.
Tips & things to watch for
- Toggling a notification on takes effect on the next event of that type — past events aren't re-sent.
- Set at least one recipient to receive each type of notification you care about — otherwise no-one will see them.
- The primary contact always receives product update notifications regardless of these toggles.
