Qualifications, education, languages and interests appear on each practitioner's public profile. Patients use them to filter — for example, looking specifically for a practitioner who speaks Mandarin, or one with an interest in implantology.
What you'll need
- The practitioner's qualifications and the institutions they trained at.
- Their spoken languages.
- Their clinical interests.
Steps
- Open the practitioner's edit page.
- Scroll to the Profile Information card.
- For each of the four searchable fields:
- Click the field to open the search.
- Start typing — the list filters as you type.
- Pick the matching item from the list. It's added as a tag.
- To remove an item, click the × on its tag.
- Repeat for each field.
- Click Save Practitioner.
How each field works
Qualifications
A search-and-pick of recognised qualifications (e.g. BDS, DDS, Dip Clin Dent). Type to find — the list is sourced from a master catalog.
Education / Institutions
A search-and-pick of universities and dental schools. Add the practitioner's primary degree institutions.
Languages
A predefined multi-select. Tick every language the practitioner is comfortable consulting in.
Interests
A search-and-pick of clinical interest areas (e.g. Implants, Orthodontics, Paediatric). Add the things this practitioner particularly enjoys or specialises in.
Tips & things to watch for
- If a qualification, institution or interest you're looking for isn't in the catalog, contact support — we may be able to add it.
- Be accurate: only add qualifications and education the practitioner actually holds. Patients trust this list.
- Languages affect how patients can filter when searching the marketplace, so adding the right ones can bring you more enquiries from those communities.
