Procedures drive how patients find you. When a patient searches for "dental crown in Bondi", we match against the procedures each practice has selected. Tick every procedure your practice genuinely performs.
Steps
- Go to Profile → Procedures.
- Tick every procedure you offer.
- Click Save.
What to consider
- Be honest. Only tick procedures you actually perform. Patients searching for a specific procedure are motivated and often further down the funnel — they'll be unhappy if they show up and find you don't do it.
- Don't be too narrow. If you do general dentistry plus a few specialties, tick the general items as well as the specialty ones.
- Update when you add or stop offering services. New procedures unlock new search visibility; removing ones you no longer offer prevents the wrong patient enquiries.
Tips & things to watch for
- Ticking all the procedures (even ones you don't do) is a bad strategy — it sets the wrong expectations and leads to no-shows or refunds.
- Procedures and appointment types are different things:
- Procedures drive marketplace search. They're a discovery layer.
- Appointment types are the actual bookings patients can make, with prices, durations and inclusions. See Offer types vs custom types.
- Saving the form updates your search visibility immediately.
