Remove a teammate from your practice when they leave or no longer need access. They lose access to this practice immediately. Their personal Fixed Price Dental account isn't deleted — only their membership at this practice.
What you'll need
- An admin account at this practice.
Steps
- Go to Setup → Users.
- Find the teammate's row.
- Click the trash icon at the end of the row.
- Confirm: "Delete User — Are you sure you want to remove {email} from access to this practice?" — click Delete.
The teammate is removed from the user list. The next time they sign in, they will not see this practice in their practice switcher. If this was their only practice, they'll see the No Practice Access screen.
What's preserved
- Bookings the teammate was associated with stay intact.
- The teammate's personal account (their email, profile, password) still exists in Fixed Price Dental.
- They can still be added back later by sending a new invitation to the same email.
What's not preserved
- Their access to this practice's data.
- Their role at this practice (if you re-invite them, you set the role again).
Tips & things to watch for
- Always have at least one admin at the practice. The portal does not stop you removing the last admin — don't accidentally lock yourself out.
- If you only need to temporarily stop someone accessing the portal, the cleanest path is still to remove them and re-invite later. There's no "suspend" mode.
- For a practitioner who has left the practice (not just lost portal access), also archive them under Practitioners so they're removed from your public listing. See Archive or delete a practitioner.
