Pending invitations appear in the users list with an amber Pending badge. If a teammate didn't get the email or you sent the invite by mistake, you can cancel and re-invite.
Cancel a pending invitation
- Go to Setup → Users.
- Find the row for the pending invite (the Pending badge identifies it).
- Click the × (cancel) button on the right of the row.
- Confirm: "Are you sure you want to cancel {email}'s invitation?" — click Confirm.
The invitation is deleted. The link in the email no longer works.
Resend an invitation
There's no in-portal "resend" button. The cleanest pattern is:
- Cancel the existing invitation (above).
- Send a fresh invitation. See Invite a teammate to the portal.
The teammate receives a new email with a fresh link.
When to cancel vs leave pending
- Cancel if the email was wrong, the role was wrong, or the teammate is no longer joining.
- Leave pending if the teammate just hasn't gotten around to accepting yet — old invites still work as long as they haven't expired or been cancelled.
Tips & things to watch for
- Once an invite is accepted, the row stops being a pending invite and becomes a normal user row. From then on the only way to remove their access is Remove a teammate's access.
- Cancelled invites can't be restored — re-invite to start over.
