Once you finish the sign-up wizard, your practice goes into review. You can sign in straight away and start configuring while we review your application. Most setup tasks (profile, practitioners, appointment types, integrations) can be done before approval.
What to expect
- An amber banner appears at the top of the portal: "Your practice is currently under review. You can continue setting up your account while we review. We'll notify you once it has been approved."
- Until approval, your listing won't be publicly searchable on fixeddental.com.au, but everything else inside the portal works.
- Once approved, the banner disappears and patients can find and book you. Billing starts on the first new patient who attends after that.
What to do while you wait
- Connect your practice management system if you use one. See Connect your practice management system — choosing your software.
- Add your practitioners with photos and profile info. See Add a practitioner.
- Set up your appointment types — at least one priced offer for patients to book. See Add a priced offer for patients to book.
- Fill in your public listing — opening hours, address, About, photos, services. See the Your public listing category.
- Invite your team if you want others to access the portal. See Invite a teammate to the portal.
If your application is rejected
A red banner appears: "Your practice application has been rejected. Please contact support for more information." Reach out to us through the support link in the sidebar and we'll explain what's needed.
