The Description page is where you tell patients who you are and how to find you. There are three text fields, each with their own job and length limit.
What you'll need
- A short tagline (the elevator pitch).
- A longer "About" paragraph or two.
- Directions and parking instructions.
Steps
- Go to Profile → Description.
- Fill in:
- Tagline — a short message displayed at the top of your profile. Up to 150 characters.
- About — your main description. Highlight what's unique about your practice, introduce your team, and showcase the services you provide. Up to 4000 characters.
- Directions & Parking — help patients find your practice with clear directions and parking details. Up to 1250 characters.
- Click Save. You'll see a confirmation toast: "Profile description updated."
Writing tips
- Tagline — focus on one sentence. Examples: "Affordable family dentistry in Bondi Junction", "Specialist orthodontic care since 2008". Avoid filler words.
- About — answer "why should a patient choose us?" Mention your team, your approach, your equipment, your specialties. Two to four short paragraphs is usually plenty.
- Directions & Parking — be specific. Mention the building, the floor, the entrance, where to park (street, paid car park, validated parking), and any landmarks.
Tips & things to watch for
- The character limits are strict — text exceeding the limit can't be saved. The form will tell you if you're over.
- The Save button stays disabled until you change something.
- Empty fields are fine — patients just won't see that section on your profile.
