The rating shown on your Fixed Price Dental public profile is your Google rating — the star rating from your Google Business Profile. We sync it automatically using the Google Place ID we have on file for your practice. You can choose whether or not it's displayed.
Steps
- Go to Profile → Rating.
- Toggle the switch to show or hide your Google rating.
- Click Save.
When to show it
- You have a strong Google rating and it's a credibility signal worth highlighting.
- You actively manage your Google Business Profile and the rating reflects your practice well.
When to hide it
- Your Google rating is currently lower than you'd like and you'd rather not display it while you build it up.
- You're not sure your Google Business Profile is accurate (e.g. the listing is for a previous owner, or location data is wrong).
Where the rating comes from
- The rating is pulled from your Google Business Profile via your Google Place ID.
- We set the Place ID for you. You don't manage it from inside the portal.
- The rating updates automatically as your Google reviews change — there's no action you need to take to refresh it.
If your rating looks wrong
- The number is out of date. It usually catches up within a day or two as Google data refreshes. If it's been longer, contact support.
- The rating is from a different practice. The Place ID we have on file may be wrong. Contact support with the correct Google Business Profile URL and we'll update it.
- You don't yet have a Google Business Profile. The rating won't display anything meaningful until you create one and start collecting reviews.
Tips & things to watch for
- Hiding the rating only affects your Fixed Price Dental profile — your Google reviews are unaffected.
- The change applies immediately on save.
- The rating shown is the average across all your Google reviews; we don't filter or curate it.
